Nicollette Sheridan sues Marc Cherry, assault on Wisteria Lane

Former “Desperate Housewives” star Nicollette Sheridan is apparently suing both ABC and creator of the show Marc Cherry. Her character in the show, Edie, was killed off a year ago with an electrocution and now shockwaves will be caused by this latest news.A lawsuit has been filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court because Sheridan claims her character was axed after an assault by Cherry on the set of Wisteria Lane. She is looking for $20 million damages.

A long list of charges includes gender violence, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and wrongful termination. Neither the ABC network, nor Marc Cherry have answered requests for comments so far.
